Geographic Information Services (GIS)

Natural Investigations Company (NIC) offers a full range of GIS and remote sensing services that are tailored to the needs of client. NIC has a wealth of experience in geospatial data creation, integration, analysis, and maintenance. NIC provides data management and collection, GIS analysis, and database creation and maintenance using industry-standard software packages. NIC staff use ESRI's ArcGIS 10.x software, as well as AutoCAD and GPS (Trimble hardware/ArcPad and TerraSync software). In the field, we use Trimble GPS receivers with sub-meter accuracy.

Digitizing data from various sources (hardcopy, pdf, CAD)
Investigating and converting out-of-print and historical maps as geographic data
